There's a cold breeze sweeping across the air. In a few days, cauliflower
will be on the market. It can be eaten fried or in curry in a variety of ways.
But eating more cauliflower raises your chances of stomach issues and
flatulence.
Cauliflower contains protein, carbohydrates, iron, calcium and phosphorus.
It also contains vitamin A, B, C and potassium. These nutrients are very
beneficial for the health of a healthy person. However, although it is
delicious, some patients should not eat cauliflower at all. Let's find out who
should not eat cauliflower
Difficulty in digestion
Consuming cauliflower may exacerbate stomach issues. It contains an
ingredient that is classified as a carbohydrate, raffinose. This material is
found naturally and cannot be broken down by the body. Thus, the issue of
acidity gets worse. Consuming cauliflower is not advised for people with
stomach or digestive issues. You should only eat in moderation, even when
you're playing.
If you have kidney or gallstones
It can be dangerous for you to eat cauliflower if you have kidney or
gallstones. This is a calcium-rich vegetable. Consuming it may exacerbate the
uric acid issue. Eat less cauliflower if your uric acid level is high.
If you have thyroid problems
People with thyroid problems should not eat cauliflower. Due to this there
is a risk of increasing T3 and T4 hormones. Cauliflower should not be eaten in
such a condition.
Cauliflower is also rich in potassium. So eating more cauliflower starts to
thicken the blood. So if you have any of the above health problems, take
cauliflower with doctor's advice
